Guess what was installed yesterday?!?! The “Ouija Was Made Here” plaque created by the Talking Board Historical Society in cooperation with the city of Baltimore and dedicated on April 25, 2015 – the 125th Anniversary of the Ouija board. You can now visit it by going to 529 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. Walk into the 7-Eleven and there to your right will be this plaque, marking the spot where the Mystifying Oracle revealed its now iconic name. Special thanks to Mike Buchner for designing the plaque, Jason Vaughan from the Baltimore National Heritage Area for rallying the city and its many groups behind it, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake the Mayor of Baltimore for her support, Keyur Patel the owner of the 7-Eleven who agreed to host the plaque, all the members of the Talking Board Historical Society, all the Ouija families who came out, the incredibly talented speakers who came and presented at OUIJACON, the awesome vendors who made sure everyone left with all the goodies they could ever want, and perhaps most important are the people who bought tickets and attended OUIJACON. It couldn’t have been done without you! #Ouija #ouijaboard #ouijaboards #talkingboard #talkingboards #planchette #planchettes #spirit #spirits #ghost #ghost #OUIJACON #Spiritualism #Spiritualist
